About Us

We're Welsh's Village Farm & Home, and we've been a premier hardware and home goods store here in Lansing, IA, since 1965. Our friendly, knowledgeable staff strives to supply you with all your home improvement needs - including plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, lawn and garden supplies, clothing and footwear. We also have a wide selection of sporting goods including hunting supplies and fishing supplies. We offer many services including tire installation and battery installation as well as our very local roadside assistance. We're looking forward to growing our business to continue to serve Lansing and the surrounding areas. Our Story

Ricky Welsh of Welsh's Village Farm & Home is proud to continue offering high quality products to the community of Lansing and the surrounding areas for over 50 years. As a family owned and operated business, the natural step for Ricky was to take over operations from his mother and father upon their retirement. We are grateful for the support we have received over the past few decades and look forward to continuing to fulfill the needs of our community members for years to come.

We specialize in hardware and supplies for plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, hunting, fishing, and more. Various other inventory products include clothing, footwear, sporting goods items, as well as property needs such as fencing, gates, and lumber. Our team also services tires and batteries to provide advice on replacements and make needed repairs and installations. With years of industry experience, we are dedicated to highlighting excellent brands within our walls, such as Carhartt, Carolina Boots, Stanley Black & Decker, Traeger Grills, and Interstate Batteries.
